| Description: |
This program uses ventriloquial puppetry to demonstrate how certain cruel words and actions towards others may be a form of bullying. Each of the puppets considers their reasons for negativity towards a girl called Nellabella: reasons include her appearance, her intelligence, her nationality. Through humour and song, the children see that we should not judge by appearance, and that through our words and actions, we can bring joy or sorrow into the world. This show, along with supportive material, will provide an excellent resource for teachers who are looking for new ways to tackle the problems of negative behaviour. Awarded FRATER AWARD for Excellence in performance 2007 This organisation won the PinS Award in 2010 & 2011 |
